How to rethink spacial borders in open plan offices?

In a modern open space office people constantly have to be willing to communicate. There is almost no space for privacy. Connecting Space, Connecting People aims at the conditions of communication in open space offices. In one state, it devides the workspace and your view from the other people in the office. In the second state it connects the people and supports the communication between them, while offering a seat to anybody. So it creates two different conditions. One for intimacy and one for willing communication.
